If you're collecting the Bovine Armor set in Diablo 4 Season 15, the Foreshanks of the Bovine are the gloves you'll want to track down. Get Cain's portal open first

Your first job is to progress through the seasonal campaign until Deckard Cain moves into the Imperial Library in Caldeum. That's the checkpoint that matters. Afterward, look across Sanctuary for ten of his journal pages, tucked into open satchels marked by small cyan dots on the minimap. Collect the full set to activate Deckard's Journey, then head back to Cain. Speaking with him opens a dark blue portal named Deckard's Memory. Look beyond the cathedral

Once you're through, head toward the upper right corner of the town map. You're looking for the space behind the large cathedral, close to the graveyard. Don't stop at the building's entrance; keep going around it until you spot the cow wearing a crown. There's no fight to prepare for here. Walk up and pet it when the interaction becomes available. The Foreshanks of the Bovine should drop nearby, so check the ground before heading off. It's an easy reward to overlook if you're expecting a chest or quest marker.

Pick up the gloves and learn the appearance

Collecting the drop isn't quite the last step. Open your inventory and use the cosmetic item to unlock its appearance permanently in your wardrobe. Then you can see how it fits with the other Bovine pieces you've collected. The gloves have red leather, unsettling eyes, and bone spikes, so they're hardly a subtle addition. Before leaving, give yourself a quick check rather than assuming the appearance was learned automatically. That saves an unnecessary return trip when you're ready to change your outfit.

When the cow won't respond

An unavailable interaction can mean another player has already petted the cow, starting an instance-wide cooldown of roughly two minutes. Waiting is the simplest option. If your search started with D4 items buy, keep this particular reward separate from your shopping plans: the cosmetic is unlocked through the cow encounter, followed by using the dropped item.
