MLB The Show 26 has been busy again, and if you've been trying to keep up, it's easy to feel a bit behind. The June Countdown Program, the Moonshot II Event, and the latest Spotlight Drop all landed at once, which means there's a lot to chase. A lot of players are also watching the market for MLB The Show 26 stubs so they can grab the cards they want without wasting time grinding every single mode.

June Countdown rewards worth chasing

The June Countdown Program is the big one for anyone who likes a clean reward path. It pays out XP, packs, and Stubs along the way, with Zack Britton at 95 OVR and Ronald Acuna Jr. at 96 OVR sitting near the top. The setup is simple enough, but the catch is that you have to move through Easy missions first, then Medium, then Hard. That means no skipping ahead, and no weird shortcut if you're hoping to finish fast.

How the mission tiers work

The early missions are pretty manageable. Win one game, rack up five hits in a game, steal a couple bases, strike out a few batters, or even get a plate appearance with 96 OVR Nasim Nunez. Once that's done, the Medium tier starts asking for more work. You'll need wins in Ranked Seasons, home runs in multiplayer, PXP, and even progress with Supercharged players. That last one matters more than it first looks, especially if you're trying to stack missions at the same time.

What the harder tasks ask for

The Hard missions are where things get a little messy, in a good way. Five Battle Royale wins, a big PXP grind with 96 OVR Awards Castellanos, 24 strikeouts in one game, 15 runs in Ranked Seasons, and 10 hits in one multiplayer game. None of that is crazy on its own, but it does push you into modes you might not normally spam. That's probably the point. The full path is meant to keep you playing, not just collecting easy points and moving on.

Other live content from this update

There's more going on besides the Countdown Program. June Spotlight Drop 3 brings in Nasim Nunez, Cooper Pratt, and Kyle Freeland, while the Spotlight Pack adds names like Dustin May, Colt Keith, and Kyle Bradish. Moonshot II is back too, and this one leans hard into offense. You build around batters, use Bronze and Common pitchers, and try to stack wins for rewards that include Nick Castellanos. On top of that, the Gauntlet Mini Seasons Challenge gives solo players another lane, with Joe Mauer as one of the standout rewards.

Supercharged names and one card to watch

Supercharged players are still a huge part of the conversation. Brandon Woodruff and Miguel Vargas were picked by the community for a seven-day boost, and Junior Caminero got a shorter Supercharged run after his home run streak. If you're working on mission progress, that kind of timing helps a lot. As a professional platform for buying game currency and items, U4GM is a convenient option when you want to save time and focus on the cards you actually plan to use, so you can pick up Monopoly Go stickers trade and keep your squad moving while the event cycle is still hot.
